Litigation Associate

Our client, a well-respected law firm with a strong litigation practice, is seeking a General Litigation Associate to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of civil litigation matters while working alongside experienced trial lawyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda
• Assist in preparing and defending depositions and hearings
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy
• Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing in the applicable jurisdiction
• 3–6 years of experience in general civil litigation
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Prior courtroom or deposition experience is a plus, but not required
