Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Austin, TX (on-site with occasional site visits)

Type: Full-time, direct hire
Compensation: $85,000 – $115,000 base (depending on experience) + benefits + bonus potential
About the Role
Fast-growing Austin-based general contractor is seeking a sharp, organized Project Coordinator to support multiple commercial projects simultaneously (office, retail, education, and municipal). You will work directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to keep projects on schedule, under budget, and fully documented.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of commercial ground-up and interior finish-out projects ($2M–$40M range)
- Prepare, track, and distribute subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Manage submittal and RFI logs using Procore (or similar software)
- Process and code invoices, track lien waivers, and assist with monthly pay applications
- Schedule and document owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings and prepare meeting minutes
- Maintain project files, drawings, specifications, and closeout documents (as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals)
- Coordinate material deliveries and equipment rentals with superintendents
- Help enforce safety documentation and compliance requirements
What You Bring
- 2+ years of construction administration or project coordination experience (commercial GC or subcontractor side)
- Strong proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and scheduling software
- Excellent written and verbal communication – you’ll interact daily with owners, architects, subs, and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Understanding of construction contracts (AIA preferred), change orders, and pay applications
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Reliable transportation (some local travel to job sites in the greater Austin area)
Bonus Points
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Viewpoint, PlanGrid, or Textura
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
