We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality results aligned with project goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and documentation.
Project Execution & Oversight
- Lead on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to all specifications, codes, and standards.
- Manage subcontractor performance and resolve issues proactively.
Budgeting & Financial Control
- Create, manage, and track project budgets and cost forecasts.
- Approve invoices, change orders, and procurement requests.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety.
Communication & Reporting
- Provide regular progress updates to leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, logs, and reports.
- Facilitate project meetings and coordinate schedule updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–7+ years of experience managing construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential projects.
Working Conditions
- Primarily on-site with occasional office-based planning and reporting.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Must be able to navigate active construction sites safely.
