Job Title: Project Manager – General Contractor

Company: Established Texas-Based Commercial General Contractor

Location: Greater Houston / Dallas-Fort Worth / San Antonio / Austin, TX (Hybrid – Office + Jobsites)

Compensation: $110,000 – $155,000 base + project bonuses + vehicle allowance + full benefits

We are a well-capitalized, 20+ year Texas general contractor specializing in ground-up and major renovation projects across three core sectors:

• Industrial (warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, tilt-wall)
• Retail (big-box, grocery-anchored centers, restaurants, power centers)
• Multi-Family (garden-style, wrap, podium, wood-frame and concrete)

What You’ll Do

• Lead ground-up projects from $10M – $500M from pre-con through closeout
• Manage the full project lifecycle: buyout, scheduling (P6 or MS Project), cost control, owner/architect meetings, change management, and quality assurance
• Run multiple projects simultaneously (typically 2–4 depending on size)
• Coordinate directly with superintendents, subcontractors, owners, and design teams
• Negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders
• Drive schedule and profitability – our PMs are rewarded when projects finish early and under budget
• Mentor assistant PMs and project engineers

Who You Are

• 5+ years of construction project management experience with a commercial GC
• Proven track record running industrial, retail, or multi-family projects in Texas (at least two of the three sectors strongly preferred)
• Experience with tilt-wall, PEMB, big-box retail, or mid-rise multi-family is a plus
• Strong understanding of Texas lien laws, TDLR, and local municipality processes
• Proficient in Procore, MS Project or Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Excel
• Excellent client-facing skills – many of our clients are repeat national developers and retailers
• Current on OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR a plus
• Ability to travel to jobsites throughout Texas
